Pedro Caparros
Pedro began his professional musical career in Spain with the band “Sweet Sister” eventually they ending up in London where he met with other regulars from on the Rock / Metal scene.
Pedro then joined Catalonian metal band “Ktulu” and toured extensively in Spain releasing 2 albums and appearing on the soundtrack of the movie “El Dia De La Bestia.
In 2000 Pedro moved to London and joined Breed 77 a band best described as a fusion between Heavy Metal and Flamenco…
The band became really popular having several international hits including the rock anthem “ The River “ showcasing their talent and unique crossover style further on the album “Worlds On Fire”.
Breed 77 released 7 studio albums and made countless UK / European tours as well as touring Japan supporting rock gods Megadeth. Tours of Australia followed with appearances at “Download festival” “Waken” , Rock am, Ring and Bloodstock. Breed 77 have played pretty much every metal festival in Europe.
The band then took a Hiatus to pursue their personal goals before reforming in 2024 .
They are just finishing their latest studio album and are shortly headed to the “Sun and Thunder festival” in Spain then onto “Bloodstock” (formerly Monsters of Rock) this will be followed by a full UK headline tour towards the end of the year.
Outside of Breed 77 Pedro has a passion for the Spanish guitar which brought him to play Wembley Arena last year performing with Latin duo Matilduo.
Pedro has many production credits and is also working on his 1st (mainly instrumental release” which he describes as a cocktail of Shredding and Spanish guitar. This will feature some of the top musicians he has had the pleasure to work with during his career.
A long time Gibson used Pedro has now added a Shijie STE custom to his live and studio gear and we can expect to see a lot more of that as they take stage touring this year.
